Look After Your Skin

!±8± Look After Your Skin

I think it's important to look after your body as this will help you in later life. I've written the following article to help inform you of the best ways to look after your skin and appearance for now and later in life. I hope you find the following article informative.

Firstly the age old 'you need to drink more water' is true. It helps flush toxins from your body and promotes glowing skin. I'm like most people and love my fizzy drinks but recently I've found that sparkling water is a good substitute for this so I would strongly recommend sparkling water for people who don't enjoy mineral water.

Eating extra food and natural foods will also help your skin. Like many people I find if I eat too much fast food or high fatty foods my skin becomes spotty and red. Don't forget that you don't have to completely change your diet just introduce more healthy foods.

Exfoliate your skin on a regular basis. Exfoliate your skin once a week to keep dry skin at bay but don't do this every day as your skin will become sore and damaged.

Moisturise your skin on a daily basis. Consider your skin tone before doing this as often if you have oily, greasy skin I would recommend using lotion less often. I would also purchase a lotion which is suitable for your skin and I would also purchase one with natural ingredients. Don't forget a good lotion is worth the extra money so don't always by the cheapest. If you use it on a daily basis you don't need to use loads so it will last.

I would also recommend using less makeup and looking for natural makeup. Possibly use tinted moisturiser instead of foundation which can be heavy. I would also possibly not use base layers of makeup so that you don't plaster your face in make up.
